Toronto to Niagara and back
Hi, My husband my 15 year old daughter and I (42) are wanting to go to Srowe Mountain Resort in Vermont for 3 nights, then visit Niagra Falls for 2 days and then 5 days in Toronto. My doubt it is...How should I get from the Toronto airport to the Niagar Falls hotel? and then back to Toronto? I know we should not drive since we do not have snow driving experience. But will it break the bank to want to go and stay 2 nights at the falls and return to Toronto? Will appreciate your help.

I assume you are travelling in the winter. Part of Niagara Falls' charm, aside from the plunging water, is the greenery of the parks, and of the nearby vineyards -- the great out-of-doors. All brown, or covered in snow, in winter. Plus the spray that drifts off the falls will be freezing cold. To me, a day trip from TO would do it (I'm ignoring the gambling casino.) From your Toronto hotel you can make the excursion by public bus or train, or escorted bus tours. Check the municipal travel websites for TO and the Falls for more info. Most hotels will make bookings for you.

I think that's great advice from Southam - so many of the Niagara activities are shut down in the winter. But it is fun to see the Falls - pic from last year

Where were you flying from in Vermont?
Could you fly to Buffalo or Rochester and take the Amtrak Maple Leaf to Niagara Falls (NY or ON)?
The Maple Leaf is daily service from New York Penn station to Toronto.
