Train from Brussels to Bruges

I checked www.bahn.de, and it appears that there is a train station at the Brussels airport, and one can get a train direct to Bruges from there, but the site is a bit confusing to me. Is this correct?

Thanks

Why not use Belgian railway website? Very user-friendly. http://www.b-rail.be/main/E/

No, you have to change trains at Brussels-Nord.

You can change at any of the Brussels stations. I recommend Centraal.

We just did this last week. No need to buy tickets in advance for Brussels airport to Brugge. We bought our tickets at the airport train station (15.90 euro each). You must change trains in Brussels at either Brussel Nord or Brussels Centraal. You are allowed a "stopover" at an internal Belgium station and we chose to do this at Centraal. This station is very close to Grand Place and Manequin Pis. My Granddaughters were on this trip and had not been to Brussels before, so this was a great opportunity for them to see some sights on the run. We spent about 2 hours in Brussels. Brussels Centraal also has a baggage storage kiosk. It took us some time to find it but now we know that it is just at the bottom of the steps to the ticket counter on the mid level of the station next to the elevator and one level up from the trains. There is a train from Brussels to Brugge about every hour and the trip takes 57 minutes. Hope this helps.
