Between Menton & St. Tropez small sea-side village with a nice sandy beach?
We are a family of 2 with 2 young daughters on a 36 days road trip in France in May-June 2015. My brother in law will join us with his family from London and we shall spend 4 days together. He has been to Sete earlier and likes the type of sandy beaches there.
Can someone suggest a small sea-side village with a nice sandy beach on he French Riviera between Menton and St. Tropez.
We don't like a big city like Nice as a base. We also don't want a rocky or Pebbled beach.
Please help.

DebitNM, i loved the place. The beaches are small and look more rocky. The place looks a bit bigger than what i want. may be we can stay on the outskirts. Not yet sure about the beaches.

The outskirts on the west is Nice - Villefranche is just over the hill from Nice and in many ways IME a largish city though it is small - quite a busy place when I've been there but wonderful place.
Sandy beaches abound near Biot- a hill town just a bit off the sea but wide sandy beaches for miles. (I stayed at a campsite in Biot that was just across a main road from the sandy beaches. - there are hotels along the coast but not much of a town.
