If you're interested, St Cyprien has a wonderful outdoor market on Sundays. Lots of food, vegetables, clothing, table linens, it was our favorite market last year when we stayed in Beynac. Even if you're not interested in the market, have a great trip.

Thanks for the tip, we'll be shopping there, no doubt...we like to cook-- especially with fresh local food. Very excited about this, our first trip to France...it's been on our "bucket list" for such a long time..and now...voila!! (or is that voici??)--my French is very small and rusty.

We spent two weeks in St. Cyprien three summers ago and really enjoyed it.
Several members of our group came to St. Cyprien on the train from Bordeaux. (This line continues on to Sarlat.) There isn't a proper station... just a stop.
The train stop is a good walk from the village center.
