Why would you stay the first night in Fountain Hills? Perhaps you're visiting a friend or family member? It is very far east and really doesn't have much going for it.

You don't need 3 days in Page to do the float trip, the dam, and antelope canyon. Two days is sufficient, and I would add Horseshoe Bend. Add a day to Sedona.

I would not stay in Jerome, since it is maybe 45 minutes from Sedona. Likewise Verde Canyon Railroad, and wine tasting along Page Springs Road, only about 30 minutes from Sedona.

In Sedona, also Chapel of the Holy Cross, Red Rock Crossing, browse Tlaquepaque.

We are taking the road out of Phoenix to Winslow and as we arrive Phoenix after 5o'clock evening we thought Fountain Hills would be good for our first overnight after our flight.

Phoenix has an interesting art museum, or if you like Native American art, don't miss the Heard.

Again, we don't really have an idea of the types of things that may interest you. Anything beside golf and wine?

If you have any interest in Frank Lloyd Wright Teliesin West is right outside of Phoenix in Scottsdale AZ.

Since you're going to Posada Hotel the Petrified Forest isn't that much out of the way. It was interesting drive through.

La Posada is absolutely beautiful! We stayed there 12 years ago. It was in October, and the "greenery" was gorgeous. I took hundreds of pictures. At that time We stayed on a night that the restaurant was closed the next day and we got a complimentary breakfast (continental style). The restaurant was good at the time. Definitely want to have anything with apples as the us their apple trees as the source. And then go downtown to have your picture with Glenn Frey--standin' on a corner with the girl in a flatbed truck mural in the background.

Deiving east on E. Shea Blvd to Fountain Hills, you'll pass the direction sign to Taliesin West which is well worth the detour.
There is a good Italian restaurant in Scottsdale, close to FH, Casa Mia. It's near The Mayo Clinic which you'll pass driving east.

As far as order, I would recommend the following:
Chinle to Monument Valley, then to Page, then to the North or South Rim. If you have time in Monument Vally drive north through Mexican Hat, left on HWY 261 to top of the Moki Dugway for one of the best views in the southwest.

Three days in Page is fine. Things to do there:
Scenic drive up Cottonwood Canyon road ( check on road conditions before going).
Hike Wire Pass to Buckskin Gulch from House Rock Valley Road.
There is a BLM Visitor Center in Big Water that can provide ideas. There is also a small visitor center between Page and Kanab close to where the Paria River crosses HWY 89.

I agree to not staying in Jerome. Also in Sedona add the Palatki Ruins, which you need a reservation for. The ruins are OK but the rock are is some of the best around. Ask to see the Agave Pit area. If you like old cars and such, check the Gold King Mine near Jerome.

For shopping you might want to stop at the Cameron Trading Post. It is on HWY 89 just north of the turn-off to the South Rim. In Flagstaff, check the Artist Gallery on North San Francisco Street.

Things to do in Flagstaff: Walnut Canyon, Lowell Observatory, hikes around San Francisco Peaks, Meteor Crater east of Flagstaff. Wupatki Ruins and Sunset Crater on HWY 89 just north of Flagstaff.

From Page you could make a trip to Zion National Park, personally i loved it there, its roughly 1.5-2hrs drive each way from Page to Zion. The Dam and Antelope Canoyon dont take very long to see, we did both in an afternoon. unsure about the bo

We are very happy to go to Jerome, lots of people seem to like it also it's Halloween and we are not hikers so don't want too long in Sedona, mostly playing golf there, and have one and a half other days to explore. Also adding trip to Vermillion in Page and horse riding so will be full, TKs for comments

Arriving in Phoenix after 5PM, I don't think they can visit Taliensin on their way to Fountain Hills.

You'll love the Verde Valley Railroad

Monument Valley and Slot Canyon at Antelope are amazing, Jerome is good for a drive through. You mention you like music, Have you checked out the Musical Instrument Museum in Phoenix http://mim.org ? We are not musically inclined and thought we would just spend an hour or so at this museum, well, 4 hours later we were still enjoying it! We are more the fine art museum/antique houses sort of people so had not expected to like it this much. I can say it was one of the highlight of a two week trip through Colorado/Utah/Arizona. You will not be disappointed, it is amazing!
