Buena Vista Lodge is pretty reasonable. http://www.buenavistalodgecr.com/thelodge.html

We didn't stay there, but spent a day enjoying the mud baths, hanging bridges, lunch, horseback riding and hiking.

Hacienda Guachipelin is a good option and it’s very close to the National Park entrance. They have an adventure center where you can book different kinds of tours, like horseback riding, canyoning, zip-lining, tubing, hiking, canyoning, visit waterfalls or the hot springs and many more.

We stayed a Buena Vista Lodge for one night, enjoyed the experience. We did the overnight package with horseback riding, zip line, water slide, mud baths, etc. clean, comfortable and fun.

Another nod to Hacienda Guachipelin, especially if you have your own car. Hiking trails on site, near the national park, great hot springs. We didn't try anything at the adventure center, but have heard good things.
