This Paris apartment - yes or no?

We are looking for an apartment for 4 nights following a river cruise in July. We have been to Paris many times but the other couple who we are traveling with have never been.
I am looking at apartments that are central in Paris and came across this one. I am not familiar with this area but the price is right and it looks nice. Is anyone on Fodor's familiar with this area and is the apartment a yes or no? (We need two bedrooms and AC) Thanks!

i cant help you with that one but i have met a french lady ( at a fair here in australia) who has a studio close to the eiffel...she seemed a lovely genuine person so i took her card ...not for us cos that apartment is too small for the three of us but at least i can say that the owner seems fine

It's a very good location, central and easy walking to most of the areas of interest to tourists. However, it's on the 3rd floor, which probably means 4th floor in American terms and I see no mention of an elevator.

Looks very nice however only 1.5 baths. We travel frequently with another couple and always make sure each couple has their own bathroom in our rentals.

It looks nice enough, as long as you realize one bed is only a double, not a queen. And that it probably is a 4th floor walkup. I wouldn't let the bathrooms bother me that much, 1.5 is better than just one, and it won't be that easy to find something with 2 bathrooms for only 4 days.

The area's okay, it is near an enclosed shopping passageway the Passage du Grand Cerf. http://foodnouveau.com/2013/01/desti...du-grand-cerf/

Looks like Etienne Marcel is the closest metro stop. So I'd think it would work fine for you as long as people don't mind no elevator and a regular double bed.
