Most of us Fodorites are fiercely independent travelers (including yours truly) who would never deign to use a travel agent/guru. For those of you who would do so, the latest <b>Conde Nast Travel Magazine</b> (December)includes their annual comprehensive list of 150 "gurus" with phone numbers(some toll free) and full detailed descriptions of each one's expertise.

That's a great annual article. I used to subscribe to the magazine and always enjoyed that feature. Not that I would (could afford) to use one. But their specialties are interesting to read about.
