Pre- booking tours
How much pre-booking of the tours should I do?
And I'm not sure what we will have time for..and there's rain to consider. Seem like when reading some trip reports there is a mixture of pre-planning and arranging for tours through the hotel when you get there.
Mainly concerned w/ Arenal and Monteverde as we will only have 2 nights in each.

I think you're fine to just book everything when you get there. Eco Termales does sell out, so if you're interested in going there, I might book that one ahead. They limit the number of people who can get in to keep it from getting crowded.

Volcanogirl is right, Eco Termales about the only thing that might fill up. Sometimes in the dry season some tours can fill as well.
If you do go through a tour operator pre booking, make sure they are registered with CANATUR or ICT the tourism governing bodies here in Costa Rica.
Cheers
