Stretching along an old olive grove, this luminous hotel has one of the most relaxed settings in San Isidro. This is especially true if you avail yourself of the sundeck and pool on the top floor. Rooms are amply proportioned, especially those with private balconies overflowing with greenery. The clientele is mostly business travelers, so the rooms have computer connections and space to spread out. Italian cuisine is served at El Olivar, where you're treated to a view of the park. Ichi Ban serves up a vast selection of sushi and sashimi. Pros: Lovely location overlooking a park, top-notch dining, near shops and boutiques. Cons: Chain-hotel feel, far from sights.
