The Chilean-born, Los Angeles–raised owner of this property, Pablo Guerra, has taken one of Pucón's oldest lodgings and given it a complete overhaul, turning this old dame into one of the town's finest B&Bs. He's placed queen beds in every room and installed little touches, such as safety rails in the bathtubs, which you rarely see even in some large hotels in Chile. A few more simply furnished rooms on the top floor are billed as "backpacker" rooms but are a definite
cut above Pucón's typical budget lodgings. Sitting on the peninsula that juts out into Lago Villarrica, the deck affords both lake and volcano views.
