Getting Here and Around

You can reach Quemchi via paved roads from Ancud in less than an hour by car. To get to nearby tourist sites, be prepared for gravelly, dusty country roads that require careful driving, preferably in a four-wheel-drive vehicle. Additionally, there are a few small islands nearby worth seeing. You can hire a boat at the town port, where there is usually a handful of captains on hand ready to negotiate a fee for the service.
