Luxor Regente Hotel Review

Now part of the Golden Tulip chain, rooms are spic and span and reasonably tasteful, while the, downstairs lounge is modern and vibrant, with leather chairs, red sofas, and glass tables. The restaurant Forno e Fogão has a good Saturday feijoada, though it's not as celebrated as that of the Copacabana Palace. The suites have whirlpool baths. The gym area is small, but the hotel is committed to continually updating its equipment. If you choose a standard room, be sure that it's not one that faces south; those rooms have an unfortunate view of a trash-can-filled alley. Other rooms look out over Avenida Atlântica and Copacabana Beach.
