Fodor's Expert Review Hotel Lago Azul

A surprisingly good value for the prime lakefront location right on the beach and under the Cerro Calvario, this blue-hued hotel may look a bit lackluster from the outside, but it has well-appointed rooms with plush beds and romantic blue-velvet curtains. Most rooms have small balconies and unobstructed views of Lake Titicaca and Isla del Sol. The only complaint are the smallish bathrooms. A varied breakfast buffet complements the daily (Bs)150 rate per person.
