Clos de los Siete: Monteviejo, Flecha de Los Andes, Cuvelier de Los Andes
Clos de los Siete: Monteviejo, Flecha de Los Andes, Cuvelier de Los Andes Review
It's been called "the most ambitious winery project ever attempted." Five wineries owned by seven partners, under the expert supervision of Michel Rolland, share these vineyards, each choosing his particular grape variety. Each makes his own wine, then contributes grapes to make a blend of all of the partners' grapes, bringing together the best grapes of some of the world's best winemakers. The grapes mature at different times because they're planted at different altitudes (this prolongs the harvest over five weeks). These five wineries, notable for their architecture as much as for their impressive and well-respected wine, all receive visitors, and lunch is available at Flecha de Los Andes.
