For decades the Jones family, owners of this stately redbrick corner building, ran a hotel and bar (complete with a boxing ring in the basement) here, but switched to serving steaks, pizzas, and pasta. The decision has been a success: on weekends, locals from as far afield as Puerto Madryn pack themselves round the wooden tables of the bright, high-ceilinged dining room to devour their generous parrilladas (mixed grills). We love the presence of Gaiman's traditional
dark fruit cake in the Postre Wini, in combination with ice cream, nuts, whipped cream, and liqueurs.
