Snowy Range Ski Area. Downhill skiing and snowboarding are available 5 miles west of Centennial at the family-oriented ski area, which offers lift tickets at much cheaper prices than the West's glitziest resorts. There are five ski lifts, with slopes for beginners and experienced skiers, plus some cross-country-skiing trails.
