Fodor's Expert Review Greywolf Inn
395 Keeler Rd., Sequim, Washington, 98392, USA
Editor's Note: This location is no longer in operation.
On a 5-acre hilltop overlooking town, this pastoral retreat among the trees is right on the Olympic Discovery Trail and a gazebo, Japanese-style hot tub, and warm front room encourage convivial gatherings. Berry bushes and occasionally elk dot the grounds. Room themes are inspired by diverse places and cultures like the south of France, the African savanna, and Bavaria. One room has a fireplace, another has a featherbed, and two have magnificent views. The glass-enclosed dining room and deck overlook a meadow. Cozy rooms are done in country style and filled with antiques.
PROS
- quiet garden setting
- inexpensive
CONS
- interior styling too frilly for some
