This Sequim bistro, which opened in 2013 in a former church, has quickly become a popular spot for both locals and tourists. Many of the menu choices are "small-plate" or tapas style, which makes it easy to mix and match different tastes and share with dining companions. Categories include starters, garden, surf, pasture, and grains; servers can recommend good matches. The grilled pear salad with blue cheese marries well with the crispy-skin salmon, served with ginger
miso and sauteed vegetables. Traditional full plates like roast chicken with roasted baby potatoes and asparagus are also available. Cocktails are noteworthy, too, and a changing dessert menu may include flourless chocolate cake or croissant bread pudding. Unlike many of the downtown restaurants in quiet Sequim, Blondie's stays open every night of the week. The restaurant is small, so reserve ahead.
