CREHST Museum (Columbia River Exhibition of History, Science, and Technology) Review

Displays show the area's development from prehistoric times to the nuclear age and there are educational exhibits, some of which are hands-on. The outdoor Boomers on Wheels exhibit depicts local trailer life in the 1940s, when the Hanford Construction Camp was the largest trailer camp in the world. A Lewis and Clark exhibit tells the story of the famous explorers and their expedition through the area more than 200 years ago. Another exhibit highlights fish species of the Columbia River. The area's geology is depicted in a mural and hands-on rock display.
