Fodor's Review:

With its 17-story tower, the former Ramada Plaza Resort Oceanfront, has been sold to private owners who promise a renovation of the 1960s-era high-rise. Rooms that do not face the ocean directly have either a partial view or overlook the swimming pool. The modern lobby has a skylighted atrium. The Surf Club Ocean Grill, serves—predictably—seafood. The hotel offers a children's program. Pros: the Wyndham Virginia Beach accepts pets (additional fee), but only if the reservation is made directly through the hotel. Cons: the hotel is north of the main action on the boardwalk.
