This 1920s motel with moss-green siding and forest-green awnings has a beautifully decorated central staircase in the lobby. Each of the 30 rooms is furnished with antiques and appointments from the Civil War period, and the lobby has an old-time upright piano, as well as many historic photographs of Fredericksburg. Efficiency suites for extended stays feature more modern decor and all rooms have high-speed wireless Internet. Breakfast includes beverages, cereal, and coffee cake. The inn is situated just at the edge of the historic district and has private, off-street parking.
