Fodor's Review

The rich collections at this museum include military artifacts, early tools, dolls, and the Bennington Flag, one of the oldest of the Stars and Stripes in existence. One room is devoted to early Bennington pottery, and another examines life here during the Gilded Age. There's glass and metalwork by Tiffany, but the museum's highlight may still remain the largest public collection of the work of Grandma Moses (1860–1961), the popular self-taught artist who lived and painted in the area.
