Wyndham Ocean Ridge Resort Review

Looking for resort amenities in a get-away-from-it-all escape? You've found it here, at the only resort on the island. This is the former Fairfield Ocean Ridge, which was taken over by Wyndham in 2006. It is a time-share, so all of the attractive units are individually owned and decorated according to the owner's taste. Non-owners can still rent these units, but, alas, the number available is smaller than in the past, so reserve as far in advance as possible. There is a two-day minimum stay in-season (April 1-August 30), and you will pay a $25 reservation fee. Summers are solidly booked, especially weekends; in the off-season the major holidays find few available units. Although few of the accommodations (efficiencies to five-bedroom villas and houses) are on the beach, most are just a short walk away from it.

    Hotel Amenities

  • 38 units.
  • Restaurant, bar, golf course, pool, tennis courts, beach, children's programs.
  • Rate includes no meals.
  • Credit cards accepted.
