Christopher Dodge House Review

Rooms on the east side of this three-story 1858 Italianate brick town house have direct views of the State House, though Route 95 lies between the two. Most of the bright, simply furnished rooms have polished wide pine floors and gas fireplaces, some with marble mantles. Quality mattresses make for restful sleeping if you're not too sensitive to highway noise. Two of the king bed rooms also have an extra twin bed. The free parking is a nice perk especially since it's within walking distance of downtown and Federal Hill. The hearty breakfast is prepared by a Johnson & Wales culinary grad.
