South Slough National Estuarine Research Reserve
South Slough National Estuarine Research Reserve Review
The fragile ecosystem at South Slough National Estuarine Research Reserve supports everything from algae to bald eagles and black bears. More than 300 species of birds have been sighted at the reserve, which has an interpretive center, guided walks (summer only), and nature trails that give you a chance to see things up close.
