Portland's White House Bed and Breakfast Review

Hardwood floors with oriental rugs, chandeliers, antiques, and fountains create a warm and romantic mood at this elegant bed-and-breakfast in the historic Irvington District. The Greek Revival mansion was built in 1910 and is on the National Register of Historic Landmarks. There are a number of common areas for people to gather, both in the house and on the grounds. Rooms have private baths, flat-screen TVs, and mahogany canopy or four-poster beds—and they come stocked with complimentary fresh-baked cookies or Moonstruck chocolates. A full breakfast is included in the room rate, and the owners offer vegetarian or vegan options.
