Clawson's 1905 Restaurant & Pub Review

Housed in what was a grocery store in the early 1900s, Clawson's is stuffed with memorabilia. It gets crowded in summer, so arrive early for both lunch and dinner. Hearty food such as ribs, steaks, pasta, and seafood are part of the attraction. The pub has a selection of North Carolina microbrews.

    Something for Everyone

Some friends and I ate at Clawsons while we were in Beaufort for a fishing trip and loved it. The restaurant was easy to get to had great atmosphere. The menu was just big enough and had a variety to choose from. Some favorites were the sushi tuna appetizer, the chicken wings (easily the best I've had), and the shrimp and grits. Great beer selection too. I'll be in the area again soon and definitely plan to go back.
