Currituck Beach Lighthouse

Fodor's Review:

The Currituck Beach Lighthouse is the northernmost lighthouse on the Outer Banks. Except in high winds or thunderstorms, you can climb 214 steps to the top. Completed in 1875 of around 1 million bricks, the lighthouse is unpainted.
