The North Carolina Coast Restaurants

Elizabeth's Café & Winery

Fodor's Review

Candelit tables covered in lace, fine wine served in Riedel glasses, and a cozy fireplace to warm chilly nights set the atmosphere for this sophisticated French bistro, best known for its food and wine pairings. Choose from a prix-fixe wine dinner or full à la carte menu in the main dining rooms, or a small plates menu at the bar or in the Wine & Art Gallery. Expect locally sourced ingredients prepared skillfully and served artfully: like prime Angus beef tenderloin

au poivre. Your selections can be paired with outstanding wines from the restaurant's extensive celler. Tables are reserved for two-hour dinners in two set seatings. Vegetarians will appreciate creative menu selections such as a pecan-crusted sweet-onion torte drizzled with aged balsamic reduction. Don't let the shopping center location fool you. This is fine dining, tucked away in Duck.
