Fodor's Review:

This small bistro evokes big-time romance even though it's in a shopping center. Choose to eat in the French-country dining room or in the stone grotto. À la carte and fixed menus change to reflect the day's market purchases, whether it's rack of lamb, Angus beef tenderloin, or the freshest vegetables for the Vegetarian du Jour dish. The restaurant's wine list has been written about in the Wine Spectator, and Elizabeth's has more than 1,600 bottles for sale.

My husband and I had our small wedding reception at this location and I wouldn't of done anything different. The staff and owner were absolute wonderful. The glasses were always full and the owner specialized the wedding by using a special wine company that used our last name the compliment the dining experience. The food was fabulous and the occasion was so memorable. Hubby and I are planning on doing our anniversaries there as much as possible. We never understood the mixing of the wines until now where they complimented the food excellently. It is a must in your travels to the Outer Banks. In the peak season be sure and make reservations.
