The Spouter Inn

Spouter Inn

The Spouter Inn Review

Dining at a shaded table on the Spouter's deck overlooking Beaufort Harbor and Taylor's Creek is one of life's treats. Boats glide by, you see a wild horse or two on Carrot Island just across the way, and a waiter appears with a cold drink and plate of steamed shrimp. The prime rib and maple bourbon barbecue ribs are popular alternatives to seafood. The attached bakery produces all kinds of cakes and pies: the carrot cake is outstanding. Sunday brunch choices include quiche, omelets, and eggs Benedict with crab cakes. There's indoor seating as well.
