Fodor's Review

Nearly everything is "moolicious" at this black-and-white spotted café—New Bern's only "4-hoof" restaurant—created by the Maola Milk and Ice Cream Company. Today the café is privately owned, but cows still rule here, making children squeal with delight. Gifts and toys have something to do with the animals, but the ice cream is most popular. Choose Udder Pecan, Mooberry Mousse, or perhaps a Moonana Split. Sandwiches, "cowlossal" all-beef hot dogs, "cowsadillas," housemade caramel corn, and apple pie "à la moo" are served, too.
