Bittar began selling his first jewelry line, made from Depression-era glass, on a corner in SoHo. Now the Brooklyn-born designer has multiple Manhattan stores showcasing his hand-sculpted and hand-painted treasures. He makes clean-lined, big-statement jewelry from vermeil, colored Lucite, pearls, and vintage glass. The stores mirror this aesthetic with a mix of old and new, like antiqued white Victorian-era lion's claw tables and Plexiglass walls.
