Nathan's Famous Review
No visit to Coney Island would be truly complete without a hot dog from this stand that first opened in 1916—although as of press time, Nathan's was closed due to damage from Hurricane Sandy but expected to reopen by summer 2013. On the Fourth of July thousands come to see their world-famous hot dog-eating contest; the record stands at 68 in 10 minutes.
