This is one of the most unforgettable shopping experiences on the Strip. Duck into shops like Dooney & Bourke, Lior, Sephora, and the Art of Shaving, or Peter Lik's rustic gallery of fine-art photography. Amble under blue-sky ceilings alongside the Grand Canal. All roads, balustraded bridges, and waterways lead to St. Mark's Square, an enormous open space filled with Italian opera singers and costumed performers. Watch for the living statues, who will intrigue and amuse. If you need to take a load off, hail a gondola ($19.95 per person)! The mall is open late (until 11 pm Sunday–Thursday, until midnight Friday and Saturday).
On the Palazzo side, find powerhouse names such as Diane von Furstenberg, Michael Kors, Bottega Veneta, and Tory Burch. Shoe lovers will swoon over the Christian Louboutin and Jimmy Choo boutiques, and jewelry aficionados will delight in Piaget and Cartier. The main attraction for many, though, is the mall's anchor, Barneys New York. The reputable department store brings in up-and-coming, cutting-edge designers as well as established, exclusive ones such as Balenciaga and Lanvin.
