Grimaldi's Review

A branch of the legendary coal-fired pizza-baker nestled beneath the Brooklyn Bridge, this casual little joint in Henderson (with four other outposts in the valley) doesn't quite conjure up the atmosphere of the original, despite exposed-brick walls and red-checked tablecloths—it's in a suburban strip shopping center, after all—but it does have a wine list and a martini menu. What counts, of course, is the pizza, and in this regard, Grimaldi's deserves high praise. The oven-hot pies come in three sizes and with such staple toppings as spicy sausage, meatballs, and ricotta cheese and more updated ones like baby spinach and jalapenos. Finish off your meal with a cannoli or some flavor-of-the-month cheesecake.

    Grimaldi's Review

We went to the Grimaldi's in Summerlin. The was good, but the attitude and snotty-ness from the waitress was anything but good. She asked if we'd eaten there before. No, we hadn't this was our first time. She seemed a bit upset by that. Then when she asked if we lived near by. No, we don't. From then on it's as if we were bothering her! Listen, lady, don't give me your "I'm so special cause I live and work in Summerlin" snobbery! When she dropped the bill off, she didn't say a word. How about "Thank you for coming in. Have a nice afternoon"?
