This charming little downtown joint, spun off from a popular Manhattan watering hole, is laid out like an old-fashioned hair salon, complete with hair-dryer chairs acquired from a defunct New Jersey salon. It's a kitschy spot to listen to local bands (primarily rockers), get entranced by the curve of the pink walls, sip away at creative cocktails with names like Shampoo and Conditioner, and ogle the hipster crowd. On warm nights, a spacious patio with a bar and stage for live music is opened out back.
