Fodor's Review

On the property of a 350-acre ranch, this full-service, year-round fly-fishing lodge has 2 miles of waterfront on the river for which it is named. Fly-fishing packages include a guide, three meals per day, airport transfers, and accommodations; a three-day minimum applies for packages. The elegant country inn has six suites, with Mission-style furniture, Western art, Jacuzzi tubs, fireplaces, and views of the river. The menu includes entrées like bacon-wrapped bison meatloaf

with red wine mushroom gravy, lamb loin chops with Flathead cherry sauce, and blackened sockeye salmon with horseradish herb sauce.
