Fodor's Expert Review Glacier Institute

Based near West Glacier at the Field Camp and on the remote western boundary at the Big Creek Outdoor Education Center, this learning institute offers an array of field courses for kids and adults. Year-round, experts in wildlife biology, native plants, and river ecology lead treks into Glacier's backcountry on daylong and multiday programs. The Youth Adventure Series for children ages 6 to 11 features one-day naturalist courses; preteens and teens can take weeklong trips. Three-day family camps for ages seven and up are also on offer.
