Billed as "Jackson's only designer boutique hotel," this historic landmark, one block from the Old State Capitol, earns points for its spacious themed suites, a rooftop garden, and authentic, Southern, full-spread breakfasts. These include a generous assortment of options, including fruit and yogurt, biscuits with tomato gravy, and shrimp and grits. Rooms come in three types, including honeymoon suites with Jacuzzis, but each is individually styled and some have a balcony overlooking the garden.
