Fodor's Review

Surrounded by a public beach, this cast-iron tower was floated by barge from Ipswich, Massachusetts, in 1938. It is still an active navigational aid. The lighthouse is open daily from June through Labor Day; sunset tours are given on Friday evenings in summer.
