Fodor's Review

Owned and operated by the Roberts family, this vineyard has greatly stepped up production, and has begun experimenting with some new varieties. The vineyard makes a commendable cabernet franc, chardonnay, zinfandel, sauvignon blanc, vignoles, and several notable blends. It also makes a red table wine that's flavored with cranberries and known for its unusual bottle, shaped like a lighthouse (along with two other "lighthouse" varieties). Free tours are given daily at 1 and 3, Memorial Day–Columbus Day. There is also an aged rum distillery on the property, South Hollow Spirits, which produces organic spiced rum and amber rum. There are many excellent wine and food events scheduled throughout the summer.
