Fodor's Review:

Down East's rock- and fir-bound shores give way to a crescent-shape pebble beach at Roque Bluffs State Park. Just beyond the beach you can find a freshwater pond that's ideal for swimming. The park has changing areas, rest rooms, a picnic area with grills, and a playground. Miles of trails traverse woods, apple orchards, and blueberry fields. The trail head is just before the park entrance at Roque Bluffs Community Church.

  • Cost: $3
