mk Review

Foodies and fashionistas favor owner-chef Michael Kornick's ultrahip spot for its sleek look and elegant menu. Occupying a renovated former commercial paint facility, mk matches its brick walls and soaring ceilings with fine linens, expensive flatware, and designer wine stems. Menus change with the season and hew to two or three dominant flavors à la halibut with braised baby fennel and kalamata olives, and rabbit with glazed onions and stone-ground grits. It's not cheap, but it is special.
