mk Review

Foodies and fashionistas flock to owner-chef Michael Kornick's ultrahip spot for its sleek look and elegant menu. In a renovated former commercial paint facility, mk pairs its brick walls and soaring ceilings with fine linens, expensive flatware, and designer wine stems. Menus change with the season, and mains tend to hew to two or three dominant flavors—à la halibut with braised baby fennel and kalamata olives, and rabbit with glazed onions and stone-ground grits—rather than getting overcomplicated. It's not cheap, but it is special.

  • Chicago and Where Else

We'd like to go for a few days but that's a lot of flying to spend 3-4 days in one place.

    Any add-ons in the area?

    Thanks. Read more
