Fodor's Review

This Days Inn branch is one of the more luxurious in the sometimes so-so chain: it's an affordable stay in a prime location. The updated look of its guest rooms is one of muted colors and light-wood furniture, white linens, and duvets. Continental breakfast and Wi-Fi are included in rates, and so is the use of a nearby health club.

great place and great staff

I found this the best Days Inn I have stayed in. Very nice room. Excellent buffet breakfast. Helpful and friendly staff and good restaurants and stores nearby.

We had a room right above the only entrance. The doormen/bellhops would stand out there & yell back & forth at each other pretty much all day/night. They never offered to help with bags or anything. There is also nothing of any value near by. The elevator & stairs need your room key to get in at all times, unlike the front door. The sink/tub drainage was horrible. Nothing like taking a bath while you're trying to take a shower. Definately not

worth what we paid, & we won't be back.

Great deal!

The hotel is in a cute and lively neighborhood. The bus stop is a couple blocks away and it's only a short bus ride to downtown. The people at the hotel were extremely friendly. There is also a good continental breakfast. The room was small but clean. Driving is difficult--there is no place to park at the hotel--you just stop in front to drop off your bags. Since we didn't know where the public parking was, we paid $15/day for valet parking

($20 if you want to take your car out). You can't beat the price for the location.

Noisy and cramped but hey... it's cheap!

Due to an oversight on the part of our travel agent, two out of our three rooms were smoking rooms (we had requested non-smoking). The hotel was sold out and apologetic for their inability to amend this but the offered "solution" was truly laughable. They had someone come to the room with "air freshener" - a plastic spray bottle that they sprayed on the drapes to no avail. I left the windows open for hours and was forced to close them in order to

sleep. if you stay here geta courtyard facing room - streetside rooms are noisy even with the windows closed. We all discovered that phones were turned off for outside access until we called the desk and asked that they be activated (in theory when we left our credit card numbers at the counter all phones had been activated). bathroom was very cramped with no place to lay out toiletries and room was small and awkward. They "put away and lock up" all irons and ironing boards between 10 PM and 6:30 AM. My colleague had to iron his clothes in a vending area off the lobby at 6 AM because they wouldn't let him take the iron to his room. Can you tell that I was unimpressed?
