The warm ocean breeze rolls through these pretty rentals and shoos the mosquitoes away, making this a perfect spot if you want quiet, gorgeous scenery. The decor is both whimsical and calming—expect colorfully painted walls and sheer curtains. The saltwater pool is fed by a waterfall. Fully equipped kitchens and Wi-Fi make these studios an ideal home away from home. Allergy-prone travelers can relax here—no chemicals or pesticides are used on the property. Although it seems far from civilization, you are only 5 minutes from Haiku and 10 from Paia. Pros: good for people sensitive to harsh chemicals; one of few licensed rentals in area. Cons: 15 minutes from closest beach; rather remote location; the owner prefers stays of seven nights or longer, though will negotiate depending on availability.
