Visitor Information

The MLK Visitor Information Center is easily accessed from all major thoroughfares and is open daily 9 to 5:30. The center has a useful audiovisual overview of the city and a staff of knowledgeable trip counselors. Other downtown information centers include the River Street Information Center, open from 9 to 8 from February to November and 9 to 6 in December and January. The glass-enclosed Visitor Center at Ellis Square offers a convenient, centrally located information station.

For detailed information about Tybee Island, drop by the island's visitor center, just off Highway 80. It's open daily 9 to 5:30.

Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport Visitors Center. Step off the plane and start learning about Savannah from friendly attendants, including tour recommendations and late-night eats. Savannah Visitor Information Center. The MLK Visitor Information Center is open daily from 9am to 5:30pm Monday through Sunday. Tybee Island Visitor Information Center. Learn about Tybee's treasures and tips on the best beach spots with a stop at the Visitor Information Center, open from Wed.–Sun., 9 am–4 pm.
