Chatham Area Transit (CAT) operates buses in Savannah and Chatham County Monday through Saturday from just before 6 am to just shy of midnight, Sunday from 7 am to 9 pm; download the app to see the full schedule. Visitors can also take advantage of Dot, Savannah’s fare-free downtown transportation system. The express shuttle serves 24 stops through the Historic District and runs from 7 am to midnight weekdays, 10 am to midnight on Saturday, and 10 am to 9 pm on Sunday; it does not run on most holidays.
