Stitch's Great Escape
Stitch's Great Escape Review
Once again, Disney seizes upon a hit film to create a crowd-pleasing attraction. The film is Lilo & Stitch, and the attraction is built around a back-story to the film about the mischievous alien, Stitch, before he meets Lilo in Hawaii. You're invited, as a new security recruit for the Galactic Federation, to enter the high-security teleportation chamber, where the ill-mannered Stitch is being processed for prison. In the form of a 3½-foot-tall Audio-Animatronics figure, Stitch escapes his captors and wreaks havoc on the room during close encounters with the audience in near-darkness. Sensory effects are part of the package. Beware the chili-dog "belch" odor and other tactile surprises.
Small children may be frightened by shoulder restraints, periods of darkness, and loud, startling noises. For people with disabilities: Guests in motorized scooters must transfer to an on-site standard wheelchair. Equipped for assisted listening, handheld-captioning, and video-captioning devices. Guests with service animals should check with a host before entering. Come during a parade or whenever lines dwindle.
