Fodor's Review:

The charming Sanibel Historical Village & Museum shows off buildings from the island's past—a general store, a one-room schoolhouse, a 1927 post office, a garage housing a Model T Ford, a 1925 winter-vacation cottage, and the 1913 Rutland House Museum, with old documents and photographs and a Calusa Indian exhibit.

  • Cost: $5
